Suspects arrested after armed home invasion on Date St.

A man and a woman accused an armed home invasion early Saturday morning have been charged.

According to police, the 35-year-old man and 25-year-old woman allegedly entered a residence on Date Street at about 1 a.m.

The two were reportedly armed with bats and demanded property from the seven people inside the residence.

The occupants were able to detain the suspects and police arrived and arrested Solomon Kaleimamahu and Meleana Toilolo at the scene of the crime.

Both have been charged with seven counts of robbery and seven counts of kidnapping each.

Kaleimamahu’s bail has been set at $30,000 and Toilolo’s bail is $20,000.
