Grizzly bears in town for fair, cleared by state inspectors

Three grizzly bears are in town for the upcoming 50th State Fair.

State agriculture officials inspected the bears and their holding areas with A Grizzly Experience and found everything was properly secured.

They also said the bears look healthy and comfortable.

“Our animals are our kids. We don’t want anything bad to happen to them as much as we don’t want nothing bad to happen to us or any part of the public,” said owner and trainer Dexter Osborn.

Inspectors will make unannounced visits throughout the bears’ stay.

The 50th State Fair kicks off this Friday and continues through July 6.
