Tourism numbers may get a boost with Toronto joining a growing group of Canadian cities with direct flights to Honolulu.
Air Canada’s leisure carrier branch, Air Canada rouge, will offer non-stop service to Hawaii starting Nov. 26, and on a Wednesday and Sunday schedule.
The twice-a-week, year-round service will use Boeing 767-300 planes.
The airline also announced that existing year-round, non-stop service from Vancouver to Honolulu and Maui, will be converted to Air Canada rouge service effective Nov. 21 and Dec. 1, respectively.
Calgary and Victoria are the other Canadian cities offering non-stop service from various airlines to Hawaii.
