It would’ve been nearly impossible to keep up. After shooting below 68 in each of her last four rounds, Punahou graduate Michelle Wie finally came back down to earth on Saturday.
Wie carded a second round 72 at this morning’s ShopRite LPGA classic in Galloway, New Jersey. The one-over-par day is Michelle’s first in her last eight rounds, putting a consecutive streak of five top-ten finishes in jeopardy.
The Honolulu native will need to climb the ladder in tomorrow’s third and final round at the ShopRite, as she sits in a tie for 19th at -3 for the tournament.
