As Kona native, two-time Pro Bowl center Max Unger and his reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks continue OTA’s in Washington, another world champion is in the process of making Hawai’i his home base.

Starting defensive end Michael Bennett, who married local girl Pele (Moe) of La’ie, is now making Oahu his offseason home.

He’s planning to make a big splash as a new member of the community: footing the bill of the completely free, OCEAN Health Festival, June 17th to the 22nd at Saint Louis School.

The objective is to provide local families insight on living healthier lifestyles, which include cooking demonstrations with Sam Choy. Of course, there will be a youth football camp featuring NFL heavyweights like Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, Manti Te’o, Kaluka Maiava, and his brother Martellus.
