Kapaa bank robbery suspect pleads guilty

A Kauai man faces 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to robbing a bank.

In January, Joshua Carlsen robbed the Bank of Hawaii in Kapaa, and stole nearly $8,000.

Prosecutors say only $5,000 was recovered.

Carlsen will be sentenced in September.

He has prior convictions for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
