Historic cabins on Big Island destroyed by fire

On Hawaii island, fire destroyed two historic cabins on the slopes of Mauna Kea.

The cabins were part of the Humuula sheep station.

Big Island firefighters were called to the scene just after 1 a.m. Friday.

They were able to get the fire under control within minutes, but the two cabins were destroyed and a hut was burnt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
