The H-1 FREEWAY Rehabilitation Project continues, starting Sunday night:

HONOLULU

Full closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between Ward Avenue Overpass and Middle Street from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning, July 11.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU

Alternating lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Street Overpass from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 11, for road repairs and utility installations.

Lane closure on the H-3 Freeway at the Kaneohe Bay Drive Interchange in the eastbound direction between the Kailua Off-Ramp (Exit 14) and the Marine Corps Base from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 11, for guardrail installations.

Lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe bound direction between the Halawa Interchange and the Harano Tunnels from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 11, for guardrail installations.

Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Jade Street and Makaha Valley Road from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 11, for paving and drain line work.

Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane. During these hours, the east entrance to Lahilahi Street may also be closed as needed. Access will still be available at the west entrance to Lahilahi Street

EWA BEACH

Farrington Highway will be closed between Kualakai Parkway and Old Fort Weaver Road from 7 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. Friday, July 11, for utility relocation.

The Vineyard Boulevard Resurfacing Project will resurface 10.5 lane miles from Palama Street to the H-1 Freeway On-Ramp. The repairs include sidewalks, curbs, gutters, installing bus pads, replacing existing traffic signal heads, energy-efficient, LED optical units, extending left turn lanes at the Palama Street and Liliha Street intersections, and landscaping.

Single lane closure on Kaneohe Bay Drive in both directions between Kamehameha Highway and Nanamoana Street from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 11, for road work.

Right lane closure on Dowsett Avenue in the eastbound direction between Pali Highway and Holona Place from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 11, for utility repairs.

NIGHTTIME CLOSURES ON RODGERS BOULEVARD FOR RESURFACING 

Motorists are advised of lane closures on Rodgers Boulevard in the westbound direction between Nimitz Highway and Aolele Street from 4 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday through Wednesday morning, July 9, for pavement resurfacing.

Access to the airport from Rodgers Boulevard in the southbound direction to the arrivals level (ground level) of the airport will be closed during work hours. Travelers wishing to gain access to the arrivals level of the airport from Nimitz Highway may use Aolele Street, Paiea Street or Lagoon Drive. All directions to the departures level (second level) of the airport will remain open.

In addition, United States Postal Employees needing access to the employee parking lot and east dock, and taxi drivers needing access to the on-demand taxi staging lots will be re-routed from Nimitz Highway through the mauka end of the HECO Airport substation.
