Power has been fully restored to 1,300 customers in Kaimuki Wednesday after a crash near Wilhelmina Rise in Maunalani Heights.

At 7 a.m., officials say a car struck a utility pole on 16th Avenue near Koko Drive.

The crash caused residents in the area to lose electrical power.

Hawaiian Electric crews restored power to all but 10 customers in about 30 minutes.

Crews repaired the utility pole and restored power to the remaining customers before noon.
