Lifeguards at Hanauma Bay rescued and revived a 55-year-old woman Wednesday.
The woman was a visitor from Korea and snorkeling alone about 10 feet offshore, officials said.
At around 1:40 p.m., lifeguards pulled her out of the water and found her unresponsive with no pulse. After performing CPR, the woman awoke and began to breathe on her own.
Paramedics took over treatment and transported the patient to the hospital in serious condition.
