Structure fire in Maili

Honolulu firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire in Maili.

The call came in around 12:30 p.m. Saturday for a structure fire at 87-148 Hila St. near Farrington Hwy.

According to reports, three-quarters of the abandoned single-story structure was ablaze when firefighters arrived.

The fire was extinguished at 1:17 p.m.

No injuries were reported and no other structures were threatened or damaged by the fire.

No cause has been yet determined for the fire. Damage is estimated at $128,000.
