A leak cut water service to Honolulu City Hall.
A contractor working on City Hall grounds damaged an eight-inch water line at 12:45 p.m., according to the Board of Water Supply.
Officials say Mission Memorial Auditorium and Hawaii State Library were also affected.
BWS and contractor crews repaired the leak. Water service was restored to Hawaii State Library. Service to the remaining facilities was done by 4 p.m.
A spokesperson for the Hawaii State Public Library System says Hawaii State Library had to be closed for the rest of the day because the air conditioning system and the restrooms were affected.
BWS says the leak and repairs are not impacting traffic.
