An inmate at Oahu Community Correctional Center who was reported missing Monday morning has been caught.
Jared Denault, who is part of the Laumaka Work Furlough program, was not present at the 1:25 a.m. Monday headcount, officials said.
He was serving time for an ownership and possession of prohibited firearm and place to keep pistol or revolver. His next parole hearing was scheduled for September.
Officials confirm Denault was captured on Ward Avenue just before 1:30 p.m. Monday and arrested for escape.
His disappearance remains under investigation.
Laumaka is a minimum security work furlough center for community custody inmates and is located a block away from OCCC.
Inmates assigned to Laumaka are either actively seeking employment or working in the community.
Authorities have yet to locate Eric Pixley, another work furlough inmate. The 49-year-old was reported missing on Saturday.
If you see him, call 911.
