Maui firefighters put out a brush fire in the Maalaea area.
The fire broke out at about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday on the mauka side of Honoapiilani Highway.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found the brush fire on the slope of the mountain.
Nine members of the departments Wildland and nine crews of the department of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW), along with Air-1 responded to the fire.
Officials say the fire was extinguished at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A total of 30 acres were involved.
No injuries are reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
