Head off stormy weather by voting ahead of time

In light of what could be very inclement weather caused by Hurricane Iselle starting Friday, the day before the primary election, you have the option of voting ahead of time this week by going to one of the following walk-in locations.

Remember to bring proper identification, like a driver’s license or state ID.


8 a.m.-4 p.m.: Aupuni Center Conference Room, 101 Pauahi St., Hilo
9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.: Pahala Community Center, 96-1149 Kamani St., Pahala
8 a.m.-4 p.m.: Waimea Community Center, 65-1260 Kawaihae Road, Kamuela
8 a.m.-4 p.m.: West Hawaii Civic Center Community Room (Building G), 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy., Kailua-Kona
8 a.m.-4 p.m.: Kalana O Maui Building, 200 S. High St., Room 708, Wailuku
8 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.: State Building, DAGS Bldg. #1, 65 Makaena Pl., Room 104, Kaunakakai
8 a.m.-4 p.m.: Historic County Building Annex Basement, 4386 Rice St., Lihue
8 a.m.-4 p.m.: Honolulu Hale, 530 S. King St.
8 a.m.-4 p.m.: Kapolei Hale, 1000 Uluohia St.
