The Hawaii Tourism Authority is advising visitors who are currently in or traveling to the Hawaiian islands in the coming days to monitor weather reports and follow up with their accommodations and airlines for status.
Visitors KHON2 spoke with in Waikiki Tuesday said they were rearranging their vacation plans while here.
“You come to hawaii for the clear skies and beautiful weather so it’s always a bit of a shock when you have to sit inside while the storm blows through,” said tourist Yan Carriere-Swallow.
Tourism officials are also keeping track of Iselle and Julio and will provide updates as they become available.
