At the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus, Bilger Hall and Bilger Addition will be out of service Wednesday. All classes and activities usually held in those buildings will be relocated.

The reason is because at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, a switch gear blew in Bilger Hall and Bilger Addition causing a power outage affecting 12 buildings on the UH Manoa campus.

As of 7:15 p.m., power and AC was restored to all buildings except for Bilger Hall and Bilger Addition.

The Office of Planning and Facilities is ordering replacement parts and will make the necessary repairs as quickly as possible. UH administrators will keep everyone posted on the progress.

The school says normal activities will continue for the rest of the campus.
