Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle accident along Ala Moana Boulevard.
The incident happened just after 2:15 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection with Richard Street.
Police say the motorcyclist was going Ewa-bound on Ala Moana Boulevard on his moped when he lost control and hit a sign pole.
The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services says the man in his 20s died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
Police closed two westbound lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard near Punchbowl street while they investigated the scene. All roads reopened just before 5 a.m.
