The Society of Seven is making a return to Honolulu for one night only on Saturday, October 25.
The group will perform two shows at the Hibiscus Ballroom in the Ala Moana Hotel at 6:30 and 9 p.m.
SOS founding members Tony Ruivivar and Bert Sagum eagerly anticipate presenting a spectacular pair of concert-like performances after an absence of five years.
The Society of Seven will also introduce a new guest star, song stylist Lhey Bella. “She sounds like Whitney Houston and legendary blues singer Billie Holiday all rolled up into one,” Sagum said.
Also performing are long-standing SOS members Hoku Low (vocals, bass, trumpet) and Wayne Wakai (keyboards, soprano sax, guitar), Michael Laygo (lead singer), Roy Venturina (keyboards) and Jun Estanislao (drums).
To reserve tickets, call the Ala Moana Hotel at (808) 944-4333. Tickets are priced at $55.
