The second phase of the new condominium community, The Collection, slated for 600 Ala Moana Boulevard, has sold out.

According to A&B Properties, Inc., all owner-occupant residences in The Lofts at The Collection sold in little over a half-day on Saturday, August 23.

The 48 studio lofts sold between the $349,000 to mid $370,000 range. The six two-bedroom, two-bath residences sold between $540,000 to the low $580,000 range.

Sales were offered on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 9 a.m. and several people were already waiting in line the day before at the sales gallery at 680 Ala Moana Boulevard.

Prospective buyer Daryn Ogino said he was eyeing a unit because “you’ll be able to walk around and have a lot of restaurants and places to go to without having to drive.”

“Very few are at this price point so it’s very hard for people to find a product under $400,000, a brand-new product, plus it’s just a great location,” said Paul Hallin of A&B Properties.

Residences range in size from 475 square feet to 800 square feet and feature kitchens with stainless steel appliances, washer/dryers and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Studio loft ownership includes one assigned, covered parking stall, and two-bedroom units include two assigned, covered parking stalls.

Additional prospective owner-occupant buyers can be placed on a backup list should any of the initial purchasers choose to withdraw their contracts in the 30-day allowable time frame.

Plans for the final component of The Collection will feature contemporary townhomes and will be announced at a future date.
