(KABC/CNN) — Surf’s up in Malibu!
High waves and surf are expected to hit southwest California Tuesday.
Santa Barbara’s south coast could see waves of six to 10 feet.
Remnants of Hurricane Marie are expected to bring strong rip currents, which will result in dangerous swimming conditions and beach erosion.
The surge may also cause minor coastal flooding to the area.
Officials have instituted a high-surf advisory until Friday evening.
