More airlines are banning passengers from using a gadget that recently sparked an in-flight disturbance.
Hawaiian Airlines says it does not allow passengers to use the device known as the ‘Knee Defender.’
It attaches on a passenger’s tray table and prevents the person sitting in front of them from reclining their seat.
The device caused a United Airlines flight to divert earlier this week after two passengers started fighting.
The FAA does not prohibit the ‘Knee Defender’ but airlines can.
United Airlines has also banned the product.
