A man who jumped from the second floor of a building with his baby has pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a minor.
On June 15, 35-year-old Zelig Pickering jumped from an apartment balcony on Waialae Avenue with a crying 11-month-old in his arms.
The baby was injured and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
According to a witness, several people tackled Pickering and held him down until police arrived.
A judge sentenced him to two years of HOPE Probation, a high-intensity supervision program.
He is required to complete a domestic violence intervention program and parenting classes.
