Home Depot says 56 million credit cards were compromised in its recent data breach.
The company says the malware that caused the breach has been removed from networks in the U.S. and Canada and it’s already finished a new encryption program to make data safer.
A version of it will hit Canada in 2015.
The breach occured between April and September of this year.
