Maui police look for suspects behind golf course theft

The Maui Police Department is asking the public for help in a theft case at Waiehu Golf Course.

Sometime between Sept. 24 at 1:30 p.m. and Sept. 25 at 4 a.m., someone cut the fence door of the golf course’s maintenance storage unit.

A red, 1999 Toro Workman utility cart was stolen, similar to the one shown in the photo above.

During their escape, the offender(s) drove through the golf course fence near hole number five and continued south through two fences surrounding the Leisure Estate baseball field.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 242-6966, Detective Derrick Delos Santos at 244-6437 or dispatch at 244-6400.
