Oahu road lane closures: Oct. 11-17

Here’s the schedule for upcoming lane closures starting today through Friday (Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.):

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —
7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday: Westbound direction between Halekauwila Street and Punchbowl Street for construction vehicle staging..

8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Westbound direction between Cooke Street and Coral Street for splicing of phone cables and road repairs.

9 a.m.-noon Thursday: Westbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Hobron Lane for utility repairs.

— QUEEN STREET —
7:30 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Sunday through Friday: Westbound direction between Fort Street and Nimitz Highway for sewer and road reconstruction.

— H-2 FREEWAY —

WAIPIO
8 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday: Honolulu-bound direction between the Ka Uka Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 2) and the Waiawa Road for roadside maintenance.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

MILILANI
8:30 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Sunday through Friday: Both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Lanikuhana Avenue for road reconstruction, resurfacing and installation of striping and markers. General traffic will be re-routed to the H-2 Freeway, but local traffic access for Kipapa Gulch residents has been coordinated to be escorted through the project site as needed. Advisory message boards have been placed near Ka Uka Boulevard and Lanikuhana Avenue with the work schedule.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Both directions between Kuahelani Street and Waihau Street for utility installations, sidewalk repairs and road resurfacing. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and H-2 Freeway.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU
9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: One right lane in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 split for road widening and utility installations.

— H-3 FREEWAY —

KANEOHE
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday: Both directions between the Kamehameha Highway off-ramp (Exit 11) and the Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe for utility installations.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

NANAKULI
7 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday through Friday: Both directions between Kaukama Road and Haleakala Avenue for the rail project.

MAKAHA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Southbound direction between Makau Street and Upena Street for utility repairs.

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY —

KALIHI
8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Southbound direction between North School Street and Kamehameha IV Road for sewer maintenance.

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —
8:30 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday: Westbound direction between South Street and Bishop Street for sewer and road maintenance.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Southbound direction at the Waiakamilo Road intersection for repaving, also in the eastbound direction between Lagoon Drive and Sand Island Access Road for road paving work.

8:30 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Monday through Friday: Westbound direction between Maunakea Street and Awa Street for soil testing.

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —
7 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday: Palama Street Intersection in the eastbound direction for road restriping, both directions at the Punchbowl Street intersection between Queen Emma Street and Miller Street for cold planning and repaving work, and tentative lane closures in both directions at the Nuuanu Avenue intersection between Mauna Kea Street and Pali Highway, also for cold planning and repaving work.

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE —
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Both directions between Kamehameha Highway and Nanamoana Street for the Kaneohe Bay Drive Rehabilitation Project.

— KALIHI STREET —
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Northbound direction between Akina Street and the H-1 Freeway for soil testing.

— LILIHA STREET —
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Northbound direction at the King Street intersection for water main installations.

— LEHUA AVENUE —

EWA BEACH
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Both directions between 2nd Street and 1st Street for deck widening work.

— ALA NAPUNANI STREET —

MOANALUA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday: Both directions at the intersection of Ala Aolani Street and Moanalua Road for curb installations.

— KUNIA ROAD —

VILLAGE PARK
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Both directions between Plantation Road and Kupuna Loop for asphalt paving.
