HALAWA- McKenzie Milton led the way for the Trojans with five touchdowns as Mililani ran past Campbell 47-15. With the victory tonight, the Trojans advance to their third straight OIA title game.
Mililani, ranked #2 in the #Cover2 Power Poll, improves to 10-0 while Campbell drops to 7-3 and plays for third place next week and a spot in the HHSAA state tournament.
The Trojans scored seven touchdowns tonight with Milton scoring one on the ground and four in the air. The junior quarterback went 22-of-29 for 263 yards passing and had 8 carries for 76 yards rushing. Mililani running back Vavae Malepeai got in on the scoring action as well with the junior rushing for 161 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns. Mililani ended the night with 535 total yards of offense.
Despite the final score, Campbell did have a couple of bright spots in this game. With 56 seconds left to go in the first half, Terell Johnson navigated his way through the Trojan defense for an 82-yard touchdown. The junior running back ended the night with 115 yards on eight carries and one touchdown. The Sabers finished the night with 280 yards of total offense.
