2 teenagers arrested for alleged Chinatown assault

Honolulu police arrested two teenagers in connection with a violent assault in Chinatown.

The incident happened just before 2 a.m. near the corner of Hotel and River Streets. When police arrived, they found a man unconscious on the ground with wounds to his head.

A 17-year-old and 16-year-old boy were arrested.

Police say the teens allegedly assaulted the victim and then stole his property.

A third suspect may still be on the run.

No word on the victim’s current condition.
