H-1 Freeway lane closure schedule: Nov. 23-26

The Dept. of Transportation advises Oahu motorists of upcoming lane closures on the H-1 Freeway scheduled from Sunday night through Wednesday morning at the following locations and times. (All roadwork above is weather-permitting. Should nighttime rains force delays, revised schedule details will be made public as soon as possible.)

Full closures from the Houghtailing Street off-ramp (Exit 20B) to the Middle Street overpass from 8 p.m. Sunday through 5 a.m. Monday for remedial pavement resurfacing. Westbound H-1 traffic will be detoured to the Houghtailing Street off-ramp (Exit 20B). Traffic can turn right to N. School Street or left to N. King St. as alternate routes and can re-enter the H-201 westbound at the Middle Street on-ramp. H-1 motorists wishing to access the Airport Viaduct are advised to use School Street, continue on Middle Street over the freeway, to the Airport Viaduct on-ramp at the Kamehameha Highway intersection.

Full closures from the Vineyard Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 22) and the School Street on-ramp from 9 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. Tuesday  for remedial pavement resurfacing.

  1. Westbound H-1 traffic will be detoured to the Vineyard Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 22). Traffic can continue on Vineyard Boulevard to the next available on-ramps at School Street or Halona Street.
  2. The westbound H-1 Pali Highway off-ramp (Exit 21B) will be closed. Pali Highway-bound motorists should exit at Vineyard Boulevard and turn right onto Pali Highway northbound.
  3. The westbound H-1 on-ramp from Punchbowl Street will be closed. Motorists should use Vineyard Boulevard to the next available H-1 on-ramps at School Street or Halona Street.
