Universal Pictures has released its first official trailer for “Jurassic World,” the latest movie in the popular franchise about a dinosaur park.
The trailer went up on YouTube Tuesday and has already garnered more than two million views.
The movie, which will hit theaters in the summer of 2015, was partly filmed in Hawaii back in April with Honolulu Zoo and Kualoa Ranch as locations.
The Windward Oahu ranch was also used for the original 1993 movie that kicked off the franchise.
“The Lost World: Jurassic Park” (1997) and “Jurassic Park III” (2001) were also shot partly in Hawaii.
Fourteen years after the last movie, the original vision of the park’s creator will become realized as a fully functioning dinosaur theme park filled with tourist-friendly attractions.
“Jurassic World” stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson and Judy Greer.
