There will be increased traffic in and around the UH-Manoa campus due to the university’s Mid-Year 2014 Commencement ceremony at the Stan Sheriff Center Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon.
Prior to the 9 a.m. start, drivers should use caution while approaching campus, as traffic has been known to slow near the H-1 Freeway University off-ramps in both directions.
After the ceremony ends around noon, traffic will be heavy on Dole Street, University Avenue and other roads leading from campus.
For more information on parking (including new carpooling incentives), shuttle service and its route on Upper Campus, seating at the Stan Sheriff Center, meeting graduates after the ceremony, and other pertinent and new information, see the news release on the UHM website home page.
The ceremony will be webcast live at https://manoa.hawaii.edu/commencement.
