(NHK/CNN) — Visitors have flocked to see twin giant panda cubs at a zoo in Wakayama Prefecture in midwestern Japan.
Staff at Adventure World in Shirahama Town brought the female cubs to an indoor playground packed with about 300 visitors on Friday.
The babies weigh around 500 grams each, almost three times as much as when they were born on December 2. Their mother has been breastfeeding them.
Adventure World has seven giant pandas, the most of any zoo in Japan.
The twins will go on show for 20 minutes twice a day.
Zoo staff plan to start soliciting names for the cubs.
