Hawaii Symphony Orchestra performs ‘Disney in Concert’

The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall will come alive with the sound of Disney music later this month.

The Hawaii Symphony Orchestra performs “Disney in Concert – Magical Music From the Movies” on Friday, Jan. 23, at 7:30 p.m.

Guest conductor Ann Krinitsky will lead the orchestra and four noted guest vocalists, Juliana Hansen, Whitney Claire Kaufman, Andrew Johnson and Aaron Phillips, in live performances of Disney favorites accompanied by video from iconic films like “The Little Mermaid,” “The Lion King,” “Mary Poppins” and, yes, “Frozen.”

The concert is sponsored by Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, and ALTRES.

Tickets start at $27 and are available at HawaiiSymphonyOrchestra.org and Ticketmaster.com or by calling 94-MUSIC.

In-person sales are available at the HSO box office, 3610 Waialae Avenue, or at the Blaisdell box office, 777 Ward Avenue.
