The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s office has identified the motorcyclist who died due to injuries from an accident in the Punchbowl area Tuesday.
He is Douglas Farias Sr., 55, of Honolulu.
Cause of death was due to multiple blunt force injuries.
Honolulu police and emergency medical personnel responded to an accident involving a motorcycle in the vicinity of Emerson Street and Green Street Tuesday morning.
Reports are that Farias was apparently hit by a car. He suffered extensive trauma to his leg, treated by paramedics, and transported to Queen’s Medical Center.
