Extended furlough inmate reported missing on Kauai

Kauai authorities are looking for an extended furlough inmate reported missing Wednesday night.

Orlando Manguchei, 43, was reported missing at 8:15 p.m. by staff at his transitional home in Kapaa.

He was serving time for terroristic threatening, promoting a dangerous drug 3 and a parole violation. His sentence end date was set for August.

Escape 2 is expected to be added to his charges once he is found.

Inmates in the extended furlough program live and work outside of the correctional facility.

Manguchei is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
