This February, KHON2 will debut Living808, Hawaii’s first live daily lifestyle show featuring hosts Trini Kaopuiki and Taizo Braden.
“Launching Living808 has been a year long process with lots of brainstorming sessions and hard work. It is very exciting to see everything come together. This is the 14th local lifestyle program created in our company. We have borrowed some best practices from our sister stations and added our own local touches which we believe will reflect the interests and culture of our viewers here in Hawaii.” said Kristina Lockwood, KHON2 General Manager. “We’re so excited to see Trini Kaopuiki and Taizo Braden partner on a fun, entertaining program which we hope will become a part of everyone¹s morning. Living808 will embrace all that¹s fun about our local lifestyle. From food, to fitness, to shopping, the show will feature something entertaining for everyone. Trini Kaopuiki will move from her role as weekend weather anchor to host of Living808, along with Taizo Braden, who will also continue as traffic reporter on Wake Up 2day. Kanoe Gibson returns to KHON2 to replace Trini as weekend weather anchor.

Living808 will premiere on February 9th, at 8:00am on KHON2. Live with Kelly and Michael will move to 9:00am. Hawaii’s CW will rebroadcast Living808 at 4:00pm.
