Chief of the Tuberculosis Control Branch discusses Waianae High School case

Many parents of Waianae High School students were outraged after a student there was diagnosed with tuberculosis and not everyone was told about it. The student contracted the disease last month and letters were sent home with just the freshmen. Dr. Richard Brostrom, the department’s Chief of the Tuberculosis Control Branch, talked about the case on Wake Up 2day. There’s a meeting tonight at the school at 6 p.m.
