Ask a Specialist: Colon Cancer

March is National Colon Cancer Awareness Month. How common is colorectal cancer? Can it be prevented? How important is family history for one’s risk for colorectal cancer? Find out with Dr. Scott Kuwada, gastroenterologist and section chief of GI Services at The Queen’s Medical Center, in this segment of Ask a Specialist on Wake Up 2day.

To learn more about colon cancer, mark your calendars for the Queen’s Colon Screening Fair, Friday, March 27, from 9 am – 1 pm at The Queen’s Medical Center – Punchbowl.  Check out the exhibits, talk with Queen’s doctors and walk through a giant inflatable colon. You could even win a $200 airlines gift card.
