Schedule of Oahu lane closures: March 21-27

Here’s the upcoming schedule of lane closures on Oahu (Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.):

— H-1 FREEWAY —

PEARL CITY
Multiple lane closures in the eastbound direction at the Aiea Pedestrian Overpass between the Kaamilo Street Overpass and the Aiea/Kaneohe/Honolulu Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) Monday through Friday morning from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. the next day, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • ·  Two right lanes will be closed from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m..
  •    Three right lanes will be closed from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  •    Four right lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Construction will replace approximately 10,000 square feet of concrete pavement in the eastbound direction of the H-1 Freeway in Aiea over a two-week period.

WAIMALU TO WAIPAHU
Multiple lane closures in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from 8 p.m. Saturday through 6 p.m. Sunday for deck widening and concrete pours.

  •    Three right lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday
  •    Two right lanes will be closed on Sunday from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.
  •    One right lane will be closed on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split for road widening.
9 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Thursday: Two right lanes closed in the westbound direction between the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) and the Waipahu Street Overpass for pavement striping work.

PEARL CITY 
8 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday: Lane closures in both directions at the H-1/H-2 Merge between the Waipahu Street Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass for the rail project.

SALT LAKE
8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway, also right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A), both for the rail project.

SALT LAKE TO HNL AIRPORT 
Now through 12:01 a.m. Monday: Two right lanes closed in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) for airport viaduct improvements. All ramps will remain open.

PEARL CITY TO HNL AIRPORT
9 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday: Lane closures in the eastbound direction between the Pearlridge/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) for pavement striping installations.

WAIPAHU
9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Shoulder lane closure in the eastbound direction between Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5) and the H-1/H-2 Merge for chain link fence installations.

— H-2 FREEWAY —

MILILANI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Full closure of the Mililani Tech Park/Wheeler AAF On-Ramp and Off-Ramp (Exit 7) of the H-2 Freeway for cold planning and repaving work. Motorists are advised to use Kamehameha Highway as an alternate route.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

MAKAHA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Orange Street and Maiuu Road for pole replacements.

NANAKULI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between Laumania Avenue and Haleakala Avenue for utility installations.

WAIANAE
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Right lane closure in both directions between Kaupuni Street and Lualualei Homestead Road for pole replacements and waterline work.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

HAWAII KAI
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Two lanes closed in the westbound direction between Puuikena Drive and West Hind Drive for cold planing and resurfacing as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project. Left turns will be allowed up to West Hind Drive and from West Halemaumau Street onward. U-turns to head back eastbound will be allowed at West Halemaumau Street. Special Duty Police Officers will direct left turns onto West Hind Drive and left turns from Nenue Street onto Kalanianaole Highway.

8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday: Right lane closure in the eastbound direction between Puuikena Drive and East Halemaumau Street for gas installations.
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday: Single lane closure in both directions at the Keahole Street Intersection, and same times Friday: at the Lunalilo Home Road Intersection, both for loop detector installations.

KAILUA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Shoulder lane closure in the northbound direction between Keolu Drive and Ulupii Street for roadside pavement installations.

MAUNAWILI
8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Single lane closure in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kapaa Quarry Road and Kamehameha Highway for soil testing.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

KAHUKU TO HALEIWA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Pahipahialua Street and Pohaku Loa Way for utility maintenance.

MILILANI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Lane closures in northbound direction between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street for roadway reconstruction and fence and guardrail installations. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 Freeway.
24-hour shoulder lane closure in the northbound direction between Lanikuhana Avenue and Kipapa Street for bus pad installations.

WAIKELE
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Lane closures in the northbound direction at the Lumiaina Street intersection for road reconstruction.
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday: Lane closures in the southbound direction at the Lumiaina Street intersection for road reconstruction.

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between Kekaulike Street and Kukahi Street for utility installations.

PEARL HARBOR
7 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Two lanes closed in the eastbound direction between South Avenue and Valkenburgh Street for road repaving work.

SALT LAKE
8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Right lane closure on the Nimitz Highway Off-Ramp in the westbound direction between Valkenburgh Street and Kamehameha Highway for the rail project.

SALT LAKE TO HNL AIRPORT 
Now through 12:01 a.m. Monday: Two right lanes closed in the westbound direction between Catlin Drive and Aolele Street as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Queen Street and Atkinson Drive for roadside reconstruction work.
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Right lane closed in the eastbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Kalakaua Avenue for sewage maintenance.

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Roving single lane closure in both directions between Maunakea Street and Aala Street for loop detector installations.
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday: Single lane closure in the eastbound direction at the Liliha Street intersection between Pua Lane and Aala Street for sewage maintenance.
11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday: Two lanes closed in the westbound direction between Queen Emma Street and Nuuanu Avenue for utility maintenance.

— KALIHI STREET —

KALIHI
8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Right lane closure in the northbound direction between Beckley Street and Makuahine Street for utility installations.

— LUMIAINA STREET —

WAIKELE
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: Lane closures in the eastbound direction at the Kamehameha Highway intersection for road reconstruction.
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Lane closures in the westbound direction at the Kamehameha Highway intersection for road reconstruction.

— KUNIA ROAD —

SCHOFIELD BARRACKS
7 p.m.-midnight Wednesday: Alternating single lane closures in both directions between Lyman Road and Wilikina Drive for pavement marking installations.
