A second inmate from Women’s Community Correctional Center has been captured.
Jorelyn Pacariem was arrested on June 2 at 11:45 a.m. on Hokuahiahi Street in Mililani.
The 37-year-old left the facility on the morning of March 19 on a furlough day pass and failed to return by the scheduled time of 2:30 p.m.
Pacariem was serving time for drug-related charges as well as forgery and ID theft. Escape 2 is expected to be added as a new charge.
Her next parole hearing was scheduled for July of this year.
Pacariem’s arrest comes nearly two weeks after another female inmate was captured in Makiki.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Cheryl Nihoa was found by deputy sheriffs on May 20 at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Nihoa failed to return to the facility from her furlough day pass on April 7. She was scheduled to return at 6:15 p.m.
Nihoa was serving time for assault and drug-related charges. Escape 2 is expected to be added. Her next parole hearing was scheduled for September of this year.
Both inmates are classified as community custody, which is the lowest custody level.
