Ocean Safety lifeguards and the U.S. Coast Guard rescued three men from a capsized boat about a mile offshore the Turtle Bay Resort Sunday.

The rescue happened around 10:30 a.m.

Conditions were rough, very windy and choppy waters (with 12 foot-plus swells) with winds surpassing 25 mph, all of which caused the 15-foot fishing boat to flip.

Lifeguards rescued two of the men on a jet ski while the Coast Guard airlifted the third.

All three patients in their 30s through 50s did not require treatment from paramedics.

Personnel from the Honolulu Fire Dept. also assisted with the rescues.
