A Honolulu man will be extradited to Nevada to face multiple charges, including child sex assault.
Members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force and Honolulu police arrested Rodney Hosino, 42, on Tuesday, April 21, at around 11:30 a.m. at Oahu Transit Services near Middle Street.
The company that operates TheBus confirmed to KHON2 that he has been employed there for 14 years, but declined to comment further.
Hosino was wanted out of Clack County, Nevada on an arrest warrant for seven counts of sex assault against a child and five counts of lewdness with a child.
In a court appearance Thursday, he did not fight extradition back to Nevada to face the felony charges.
On March 30, 2015, a criminal complaint and affidavit was filed accusing Hosino of multiple child sex crimes and an arrest warrant was issued.
Hosino is being held without bail. Officials now have 30 days to pick him up in Hawaii and return him to Nevada.
