With Most Football fans suffering from paralysis via over analysis…
The debates, forecasting, and trade speculations will soon be over as we are on the eve of Draft Day in the National Football League.
Obviously, all eyes will be on the Heisman Trophy winner, Saint Louis graduate and former Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota. He is projected in most mock drafts to go anywhere from first overall to 10th with most leaning at the number-2 pick owned by Tennessee.
Any of those scenarios would make him just the fifth Hawaii High School graduate taken in the top-10 in the 80 year history of the draft. Joining Herman Wedemeyer (1947, 9th), Al Harris (1979, 9th), Chris Naeole (1997, 10th) and Tyson Alualu (2010, 10th)
According to Naeole the elite fraternity is hoping to welcome a new member on Thursday.
Also expecting a call this week is projected 2nd to 3rd round selection, Kahuku alum Hau’oli Kikaha along with potential late rounder and former UH running back Joey Iosefa. Viewed as a Fullback at the next level, he has been training in Manoa with longtime trainer Chad Ikei.
The 2015 NFL Draft begins with the first round on Thursday at 2pm HST.
