Missing: Mack Kilion of Kailua-Kona

Hawaii Island police are searching for a 28-year-old Kailua-Kona man who was reported missing.

Mack Kilion was last seen in Kailua-Kona on or about April 22 in a 1997 GMC Yukon sports utility vehicle.

The SUV was recovered Sunday, April 26, near shoreline cliffs at Upolu Point in North Kohala with his personal belongings inside, but a search for him was unsuccessful.

On Tuesday, April 28, fire department personnel conducted an aerial search but failed to locate him.

Kilion is approximately 5-foot-7, 190 pounds with brown eyes, medium-length black hair and a mustache and beard.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Roylen Valera at 326-4646, extension, 268, or email roylen.valera@hawaiicounty.gov.
