The weather will be wet this weekend.
We have the fragments of a cold front bringing wet weather from the north.
The rain first hit Kauai earlier Friday. On Oahu late Friday afternoon where a flood advisory is in place through 10:15 p.m. for an area from the Pali to Hawaii Kai
On Molokai, heavy showers in the west and central areas. There is a flood advisory though 11:30 p.m. Rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour.
On Maui from west to central Maui including Wailuku, Kahului and Kapalua rainfall up to 2 inches per hour. There is a flood advisory through 12:15 a.m. Saturday.
This weather isn’t good for hiking.
An afternoon downpour trapped two hikers in Kaaawa Friday.
Firefighters airlifted them to Swanzy Beach Park.
They were not hurt but the rain made the hike really dangerous.
