Best of Japan and Hawaii celebrated at Pan-Pacific Festival

The best of Hawaii and Japan will be celebrated at the 36th Annual Pan-Pacific Festival, starting Friday, June 12. All events are free and open to the public.

A showcase at the Ala Moana Centerstage will kick off things in the morning, and in the afternoon, the Waikiki Beach Walk Plaza Stage will provide additional entertainment.

An evening ho‘olaule‘a (block party) along Kalakaua Avenue that will include food and craft vendors, will end the evening.

And the festival will conclude with a parade from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, June 14.
