L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is going all out for its annual anniversary celebration.
On Tuesday, June 30, from 10 a.m.-noon, the restaurant will sell plate lunches for just 76 cents at its Keeaumoku Street location in Walmart only.
Customers can choose kalua pork with cabbage, chicken katsu and hamburger steak.
Pepsi fountain drinks will also be offered at 10 cents each and King’s Hawaiian four-pack rolls will be available for 25 cents.
In addition, anyone in line before 9 a.m. will be eligible for the grand prize: a year’s supply of plate lunches, one per week for 52 consecutive weeks at participating locations.
You do not need to purchase a plate lunch to enter, but you must be present at the time of the drawing, between 9:45 and 10 a.m.
Last year, more than 1,500 showed up for the deal, some arriving as early as 11 p.m. the night before.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Goodwill Hawaii to help with job training and job placement services.
