Public asked to help find bicycle robbery suspects

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating two males wanted for a robbery that occurred at the intersection of North Beretania Street and Smith Street.

On Monday, May 4, at approximately 6:20 p.m., two males approached the victim and demanded his bicycle. One of the males grabbed the bicycle while the other male struck the victim. The males fled with the bicycle in an unknown direction.

The first suspect (illustration provided) is in his 20s, 5-foot-8, thin build, with brown eyes and bleached blonde long hair. He was wearing a T-shirt, jeans and black shoes.

The second suspect (no illustration) is described as in his 20s, 5-foot-8; thin build with short, dark hair; and wearing a T-shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on your cellular phone. The public may now send anonymous text and web tips. Text “CS808” plus your message to 274637 or CRIMES.
