Honolulu mayor meets with EMS union leader, discussions include schedules

KHON2 has an update on a story we’ve been following regarding emergency medical services shifts.

Sources say there was a meeting Wednesday between the mayor and the head of the UPW union.

One of the things they’re discussing is keeping the 12-hour shifts, instead of going back to the original eight hour shifts.

The union is pushing to keep the 12 hour shifts.
