The New Orleans Saints have released their first unofficial depth chart ahead of Thursday’s preseason game against the Ravens and Hau’ula’s Hau’oli Kikaha is listed as the starting strong-side linebacker in the 4-3 base defense.
From State Defensive Player of the Year as a Senior at Kahuku, to setting the career sack record at the University of Washington, New Orleans Saints Linebacker Hau’oli Kikaha has made a habit of living up to the hype.
Thursday night in Baltimore, the unanimous All-American will have a chance to continue that trend making his NFL preseason debut as he and the Saints travel to Maryland to face the Ravens.
“I’m excited to help impact this team as much they’ll allow me to and as much as I have earned or will earn. Just being able to step on the field with these men will be exciting in itself come game day.” said, Kikaha
Second round selection has spent most of the first two weeks in training camp running as a starter at the jack linebacker position as a pass-rushing specialist.
High expectations are being bestowed in the “big easy” for the humble Hawaiian and despite making a name for himself among players, coaches, and fans.
